Our Service & Parts Department
At Pickensville Marine, we have a strong commitment to service as it is the foundaton of our business. Our owner, Bill, started off working on small engines as a boy. From there, he repaired jet aircraft in the USAF while serving our country. Upon leaving the Air Force, he started an auto repair business which he owned for nearly 17 years. Now he has Pickensville Marine that he started in 1987. He knows the importance of getting a job done right the first time. He has instilled this philosophy in all his employees starting with his son, Billy, who is our service manager and grew up in this industry.
We have two Yamaha Factory Certified Technicians. They have also been Mercury, Mercruiser, and OMC Certified in the past as we have sold products for those manufacturers. We can handle anything from a 20 hour inspection to complete engine or gearcase rebuilds.
Our shop is fully equipped with two back-in run tanks. We have all the special tools and diagnostics equipment needed to repair your engine and get you back on the water. If needed, we are only minutes from the lake and can water test your rig.
Accessories are a part of every boat. Our rigger/tech, Felix, is the best around. He has over 25 years experience installing the items that make your boat yours.
Our parts department is well stocked and has a wide variety of parts. If we don't have it in stock, we can usually have it within 48hrs. We also have used parts for those with older engines.
